How we perceive other people reflects who we are. Others reflect us: how we treat others says more about us than it does them. The judgements we put against others are really our judgements of ourselves.
We reflect others: we are the average of the people we spend the most time with. We absorb and reproduce the cultures we’re embedded in, like ribosomes producing proteins for a cell.
Observing our relationships, we find ourselves in their reflection.
